Strawberry lemonade freeze

This recipe derived from a beautiful spring day while rocking in a rocking chair and thinking of sipping sweet decadent strawberry lemonade.  While the sun kissed my skin and the children played I decided to get up and make this beautiful rendition of this classic lemonade.
You won’t find this recipe difficult at all.  It’s semi homemade.
(wink wink) Here’s what you’ll need:
Servings 4
2 cups chopped strawberries (I used fresh but frozen will work just fine)
1 gallon of mixed lemonade (I used Country Time Lemonade and added about a cup of sugar eek)
Fresh lemons
Mix your chopped strawberries in a blender until they are blended but, not mushy.  Allow the strawberries to have a bit of texture but small enough to sip through a straw.  Pour your strawberry blend into the glass jars and freeze them.  After your strawberry mixture comes out of the freezer add your mixed or ready made lemonade.  Cut fresh lemons into wedges or wheels and add them to your glass for an extra zing!
And that’s it friends! Your spring, summer and anytime you want it refreshing beverage is now ready for a taste.  The acid from the lemonade will break down the strawberry freeze and slowly melt it into you lemonade adding a wonderful strawberry surprise in your mouth.  Don’t forget to add your pretty straws and an lemon wedge/slice to your glass!  Let us know if you make this recipe we would love to see how it turns out.  Enjoy!

  1. Even though summer has come and gone, I will definitely be trying this one out!
